Late actress and the diva Sridevi’s body has reached to Mumbai on 27 February at late night from Dubai for the last rites. On Saturday i.e 24th February in evening, Sridevi drowned in the bathtub at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai of room number 2201.She was in Dubai to attend a family wedding and this tragic incident took place.On Sunday morning i.e 25th February the whole world was in sorrow with the news of her tragic and sudden death. Earlier the postmortem report said Sridevi fell into the bathtub after being unconscious and drowned. The forensic report letter said that the reason for death was “accidental drowning.”Later the case was transferred to the Dubai Public Prosecution to complete legal procedures. "The case has now been closed," the Dubai government's media office tweeted.

2. Arriving at Mumbai,India

The chartered plane carrying Sridevi’s mortal landed in Mumbai around 9:45 pm on 27 February. An ambulance arranged by Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital to take her body to Boney Kapoor’s residence was already at the airport.Security has been stepped up.Boney Kapoor and her stepson Arjun Kapoor was on the chartered plane with her mortal.Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor were found at Airport to receive the diva's mortal as well as her daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor was also found at the airport to receive their mother's mortal.From the Gate no. 8 of the Mumbai Airport, the mortal of the diva has brought to her home in Green Acres, Lokhandwala.There was a lot of commotion outside the house were there with friends from the film fraternity, hundreds of fans and a huge media and heavy police presence were there just before the ambulance reached the home.

The Kapoor family has released an official statement of giving out details of the funeral and last rites of the legendary actress Sridevi on behalf of Khushi, Janhvi, Boney Kapoor, the entire Kapoor and Ayyappan families and the details of the funeral are below: The Condolences and last respects will be at the Celebration Sports Club Garden No 5, Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri West, Mumbai, Maharashtra on 28th February i.e Wednesday between 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.The last journey will commence at 2 pm from Celebration Sports Club to Pawan Hans and the Cremation Ceremony will be at Vile Parle Seva Samaj Crematorium and Hindu Cemetery, Next to Pawan Hans, SV Road, Vile Parle West from 3.30 pm onwards.
