We all have heard stories about doctors or nurses who are not really sensitive towards their patients. They treat their patients and their relatives in a cold way. We may say that they are being a bit too professional, medical apathy is indeed common these days. But the recent case has taken this feature of doctors or hospitals to an ultimate level.

Recently a video from Jhnasi exposed the abominable conditions which the patients and their relatives are forced to endure in a hospital.

 At Maharani Laxmibai Medical College in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, a person was admitted and treated in the emergency ward. The victim had met with an accident and his lower part of the left was severely injured, in an episode of treating him in the same emergency word, his own amputated leg was used as a pillow for him. The scene was beyond shocking, an injured man resting his head on his own amputated limb, in a hospital.

What was even more appalling was that the principal of the Medical College has actually blamed the victim’s family. He had claimed that it was their idea to use the severed limb as creating a very repulsive situation.

The person’s family had refuted all the claims of the principal instead they gave a traumatizing picture, Janaki Prasad, one of the relatives of the patient said, “When we arrived at the hospital we found his amputated leg under his head, when we asked the hospital about it, they didn’t answer anything. Nobody heard us from eight in the morning till two in the night,”

We cannot imagine the amount of pain the victim has gone through and the video had created a storm and the video has managed to nauseate the audiences and also reveal the atrocious nature of doctors and hospitals.
