RELIANCE JIO FIBER...all set for the launch !!

Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio is on the verge of introducing the low-cost fiber broadband network called JioFiber, by the end of this March. The service though was rumoured to be launched by the end of 2017 but it failed to happen. A report by telecomtalk revealed that Reliance Jio may now officially roll out JioFiber next month.

Mukesh Ambani’s company is testing JioFiber in 10 cities. Through its social media account on Twitter, JioCare had previously stated that the service will be available in 6 cities to start with including Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Surat and Vadodara.

The much anticipated Jio Fiber plans will reportedly start from Rs 500 for 600 GB of data. Whereas the higher packages will be rolled out from Rs 2,000 per month for 1000 GB of data providing 100Mbps of speed. 

The JioFiber services which are FTTSH based will come with bundled JioMedia share device, a smart set top box, routers plus with Power Line Communication (PLC) plugs. 
JioFiber along with high speed internet service will also give a major push to IoT or popularly known as the Internet of Things in our country.

Reliance Jio however recently has tied up with mobile wallet company MobiKwik to sell the famous JioPhone on the company’s platform, the spokesperson from MobiKwik while confirming the news said that they are proud and excited to become the first mobile wallet to sell Jio phones in India and the wallet users will be able to book their phone in four easy steps plus avail great benefits also.
With this important step MobiKwik will become the first in the country to sell the phone on its platform.

Now lets see the steps how to order JioPhone on MobiKwik: 

To book the JioPhone, the users of  MobiKwik will need to select "recharge" icon from the homepage then select "phone booking" option which appears under the "recharge and bill payments" category.

Interested buyers after choosing JioPhone will now be needed to fill in the required details.
JioPhone aims to offer a ‘digital life’ to almost 500 million phone users the same announcement was made at the Reliance AGM in July, last year.
The much anticipated device will have the following features a 2.4-inch QWVGA display with 240x320 pixels resolution, powered by a 1.2GHz Spreadtrum SPRD 9820A/QC8905 dual-core processor with Mali-400 GPU, paired with 512MB RAM. The phone includes an internal storage of 4GB that can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
The JioPhone will come equipped with a 2MP rear camera plus a 0.3MP front facing camera. Talking about connectivity, the phone will have 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, GPS, USB 2.0 and NFC. The phone’s 2000mAh is expected to deliver 12 hours of talk time and a standby time of 15 days.
