PV Sindhu, the Hyderabadi badminton champ who won a silver medal at the Rio Olympics this year. She won people’s heart with her energetic game and never-say-die attitude. Now shes slaying like a queen in her latest photoshoot with the JFW magazine.

In her photoshoot video, Sindhu shares about how her journey into badminton started, about her entry into badminton as an eight-year-old who picked up the racquet for fun, and then came under the guiding hand of coach Pullela Gopichand when she was 10.

She also speaks about how she was off junk food and mobile phones to concentrate on her game.

But winning a medal made everything worth the hard work she and her coach Gopichand put in. "If you want something, you have to sacrifice something in life. And I got a medal for the country," says the silver medallist. "It's been a wonderful journey. Those three months were really tough," she adds.

But Sindhu is still hungry for more and says it’s just the beginning.
