Narendra Modi addressed India about the Lady who inspired him on the eve of International Women's day.

Women's day is a day to tribute to women.Today it is 8th March and the whole world is celebrating International Women's day. So today Our country's honorable PM Narendra Modi took this as an opportunity to share his inspiration among us.He took it to the tweeter and tweeted about a social activist of Chhattisgarh.


Late Kunwar Bai who inspired him while he was in Chhattisgarh for the Public Rally. Modi shared about Kunwar Bai, who died recently, contributed a lot toward "Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan" in 2016 by selling her goats and raised funds from that to get the toilet built in her village of Kothari, in Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh. The toilet, the first in the village, was built in 15 days and cost Rs 22,000.

Mody's next series of tweets he said that he was deeply inspired by her noble gesture that can never be forgotten & has urged everyone to write about some women who inspired them with a hashtag #SheInspiresme to which lots of people replied including Amitabh Bachchan with their women inspiration.


PM to visit Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan on March 8th March 2018. Beti Bachao, BetiPadhao program to be expanded to 640 districts. Modi's speech will be telecasted live between 1 to 2.30 p.m. across all schools in Rajasthan, the Vasundhara Raje-government has decreed. The prime minister is expected to address an event via video conference on "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" programme in Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu district. To which all the students of Class VI to XI have been instructed to attend the live programme. He will also launch National Nutrition Mission (NNM) from Jhunjhunu along with NNM-ICDS common application software with objectives to reduce under-nutrition and low birth weight, cure anemia at a young age. The first observance of a Women's Day was held on February 28, 1909, in New York.
