India beats Pakistan by 203 runs in U-19 World Cup Semi Final

It was one of the glorious moments for team India. They beat Pakistan with a significant margin of 203 runs. The defeat by Pakistan proved out to be the biggest defeat in a U-19 tournament. The win also pushed India's entry into the final.

India now comes face to face with Australia for the trophy on February 3. While on the other semi-final Afghanistan was defeated by 6 wickets on Monday. Shubham Gill’s 102 not out of 94 balls helped India cruise with a score of 272/9 in 50 overs. Pakistan was bowled out at 69 in 29.3 overs. This exceptional performance by Gill made him the leading team scorer with 341 runs.

India being three times champions, the seamer Isgan Porel took four wickets for 17 runs. The spinners Shiva Singh and Riyan Parag grabbed two wickets to send Pakistan to the pavilion. In the eight over Pakistan were 20 for 3. Porel had taken the wickets of their openers and their top three batsmen. The Indian team also showed excellence in the field. Shivam Mavi and Prithvi Shaw took superb catches at fine leg and slips.
