Government wants Aadhaar payment to replace cards thereby promoting a cashless Digital India.

Cashless society is no more a taboo, Unique Identification Authority of India as planned to increase biometric authentication. Government of India after the launch of the new law, it’s constantly working towards developing a mobile app that can be accessible to shopkeepers and merchant for receiving payment through Aadhaar enabled app which as a unique pass code and pin. Aadhaar enabled payments accessing authenticating biometrics of customer through this mobile app. Ajay Bhushan Pandey, chief executive officer of UIDAI will gradually increase its biometric authentication capacity to 40 crore . He added that , UIDAI will create awareness about this mobile payments and even create capacity for 40 crore authentication. On Thursday 1.31 crore Aadhaar enabled biometric authentication were reported. He further said this biometric authentication includes attendance marked by employees of government organisation. This method of transactions destroy the disturbance created by demonetisation and also helps in destroying black money. The 12 digits number has already been issued to 1.08 crore people and 99%of adults have received it. This mode of payment can enable user to transfer funds balance enquiry , cash deposit in inter banking transactions. The Aadhaar card is been linked with bank accounts.
