CBSE 12th Accountancy paper leaked on whatsapp

ALL INDIA SENIOR SECONARY CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION for class XII were supposed to begin from March 5, 2018 and last exam was on April 13, 2018.


Over 11 lakh students have registered the class 12th exam and over 16 lakh candidate's will appear for 10th class exam this year.

 

Date sheets were released by January 8, 2018.

The board decided to implement Overall 33% marks criteria for passing the exam for the students. 

 

ALL INDIA SENIOR SECONDARY Schools were supposed to complete the Practical Examination and upload the marks on CBSE's official website by February 25, 2018.

 

 

But, this morning Accountancy Exam's question paper got LEAKED by messaging app WHATSAPP was reported . 

 


The leaked question paper reportedly matches SET II of the CBSE accountancy question paper.

 

Though Board had issued an alert on March 4, 2018, just a day before the class 12 examination began. The alert was sent by CBSE Controller of Examinations KK Choudhury. The full text of the alert is below:

ALERT against Frivolous Mails / Messages /WhatsApp Texts 

It has been observed that some elements are writing to some of the examination centres and asking for the copies of question paper for verification. Such elements are sending text messages in the name of the undersigned using mail id-ce.cbse2018@gmail.com. 

As you are aware that the Board does not ask for any copies of the administered question paper from its examinations centres.Therefore, all the Examination Centres located in the country and abroad, are hereby intimated that suchmails are frivolous and need not be responded or attended to. They are further directed not to send copies of any question paper and maintain the sanctity of the examination. In case of any need exigency, the undersigned would directly contact the centres.

MANISH SISODIA (DELHI DEPUTY CHIEF MINISTER) - felt shocked and even consoling for the innocent, hard working students after this News.

 


Infact he tweeted today at 11:55 A. M.  saying 


"Swift action must be taken, so that hard working students don't suffer due to negligence of CBSE".

 


A meeting of top officials was held on THURSDAY (15/3/2018) to find out if the exam paper got leaked. 


But, None of the exam question paper got leaked. At every centre where commencement of exam was to be held found intacted seals over Envelope containing the entire sets of question papers. 


The statement further said that "Miscfreants played mischief at local levels and tried to disturb the sanctity of examination ".


For maintaining the dignity of CBSE board panel 


FIR is being lodged by CBSE today. 


Strict action would be taken against such activities.
