The Best supporting actor went to Sam Rockwell, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.The Oscar for Best makeup and hair was bagged by Darkest Hour 

Best costume design was won by Phantom Thread. Best documentary , Icarus.
While best sound editing went in the kitty of Dunkirk, the Oscar for Best sound mixing ,Dunkirk. Best production design was won by The Shape of Water. A Fantastic Woman won in the best foreign language film category. Best supporting  actress went to Allison Janney, I, Tonya and Dear Basketball won as the Best animated short along-with Coco being adjudged as the Best animated film.

Best visual effects - Blade Runner 2049 , Best editing - Dunkirk , best documentary short fell in the lap of , Heaven Is a Traffic Jam on the 405, The Silent Child won in the best live action short category. Call Me By Your Name was lucky to win the best adapted screenplay category while Get Out was adjudged the winner as the best original screenplay. Blade Runner won another Oscar for best cinematography. The song which took our breath away was also declared as the winner at the Oscars and it was none other than Remember Me from Coco.

Guillermo del Toro won as the best director for his film The Shape of Water while Gary Oldman won best actor for Darkest Hour and this result was very much to everybody’s expectations and Frances McDormand, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri was adjudged as the best actress.
Best picture and Oscar for the best score went to none other than but the much anticipated The Shape of Water. Guillermo del Toro was surely lucky today as his film was the biggest winner at the 90th Academy Awards winning 4 awards in the 13 categories where it was nominated.

Jimmy Kennel who returned as the host for second year as well did a fairly good job too.
